Karen Serrano obtained her ordination in 2006 in order to become an officiant for a sorority sister who needed someone to perform her wedding ceremony. At the same time, Karen started to be sought after by several other couples who needed her services - thus Karen established "Passionate Proclamations: Ceremonies by Karen" as a mean to help couples proclaim their love in ceremonial style.
